The major parts of Oceania and the remaining countries of Asia will be able to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 2017 on next day, 26th June 2017, Monday. Kindly see below the list of countries arranged as per the Eid celebration date.
We now invite you to take a look at the visibility curve of 24th June 2017 for Shawwal 2017 (1438). As can be seen from the visibility curve, there are very good chances of direct crescent visibility in South and Central America. As the new moon can be sighted in South and Central America as well as in Africa, Europe and most countries of Asia (as listed below) before fajr, they will be able to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 1438 on Sunday, 25th June 2017. Please note that visibility is acquired either through direct sighting or via our concept of the extension of the visibility zone (link).
